Culinary adventures.

There are few foods I enjoy more than my homemade strawberry-mango-yogurt smoothie. I'm slurping one down down and despite feeling like crap today it still makes me smile. Yeah, its that yummy. 1 cup frozen mango, 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, and about a cur of yogurt and then a small splash of milk. Paradise in four ingredients.

Once I finish this I embark upon the journey of making beef bourguignon. Julia Child's beef bourguignon. I'm so excited. It takes almost three hours to make but I already know it will be worth it. I'll post pictures when I'm done if it doesn't all get eaten in five minutes.

Mmmmmmm.... sounds good.

I made Chicken Tikka Masalla last night for the first time. It turned out fairly good. I will change some things next time and it should be tastier. Though I did sop a little out when I was cleaning up about an hour after I made it and the flavors were a little stronger and little more mature. It might be one of those that is better the next day - like most of my spagetti or chilli.

Enjoy

OMG it turn out so delicious. I ate until I thought my stomach was going to exploded. I was expecting it to be fairly hard, but it was surprisingly easy and only took about 20 min of prep before I put it in the oven.

Mmmm... tikka masala sounds yummy too. You're right about it tasting better the longer it sits. Any dish with a bunch of flavor components will get better the longer you wait. All the flavors meld together and amplify one another.

Let me know if you want me to cook anything for the lake party. I'm so excited for this weekend. Can't wait!
